Humans have been drinking beer for almost 7,000 years, and contrary to popular belief, the original brewers were women. From the Vikings to the Egyptians, women brewed beer both for religious ceremonies and practical, calorie-rich beverages for the home. They wore tall, pointy hats so that their customers could see them in the crowded marketplace. They transported their brew in cauldrons. And those who sold their beer out of stores did have cats - not as demonic familiars - but to keep the pesky mice away from the grain.

During this tasting and brief history lesson, we’ll review popular craft beer styles and pair them with spooky charcuterie! This is a 21 and over event, and a $25 donation is suggested for the exchange. Consider this as the “pre-game” for our Halloween Costume Party from 6-8pm!
